Mavreen David graduated as a student of photography in 2000. She began her career studio managing for commercial shooter, Robert Kent. After landing contracts with stock photo giants like Getty Images, she took on the role of producer as well. Two years in Vancouver grew long and the fast pace of Toronto called. She made the move, which took her across the country and into new and exciting opportunities. Freelance production supported her love of the arts and allowed her time to dabbled in event promotion. She created the highly acclaimed, independent art exhibit, Provoke, which found it’s home at the Drake Hotel in Toronto. A stint in tour management and artist representation lured her into the realm of music. Mavreen spent 6 years working as an artist manager, three of which were with the Nettwerk Music Group. She has worked along side Avril Lavigne, Sarah McLachlan, The Perishers, Melissa McClelland and Uh huh her to name a few. Her first foray into film was a collaboration with Luke Hutton and East Hill Productions where she co-produced the traveling music documentary, Pedal to Steel.
Mavreen has truly come full circle and finds herself falling in love with the view through the lens yet again.
